Did you ever miss an important meeting because Outlook was closed? Then this little software is for you. Outlook No Close is a tiny invisible addon for Microsoft Outlook that changes the behavior of the close button in Outlook's title bar. Instead of closing the application, it simply minimizes it in the taskbar or in the notification area (according to your Outlook minimization preferences). To actually close Outlook once Outlook No Close has been installed, you must use the explicit "File –> Quit" command in the application menu.
Once the installation is complete, run the "Microsoft Office Outlook (with close button disabled)" shortcut that has been added in the Start menu.
Updated 2009-11-19: Now 100% compatible with Windows 7.

Have you ever wanted to send Windows Media Player into the notifications area? Media Player Tray is a tiny addon for Windows Media Player that makes it minimize itself to the notifications area instead of the taskbar. When minimized, a right-click on its icon pops up a small context menu with which you can start/stop playing, skip forward/backwards, increase or lower the volume or temporarily mute it.
Once the installation is complete, run the "Windows Media Player (in system tray)" shortcut that has been added in the Start menu.

One of my creations: the website of my girlfriend Françoise Pujol, reflexologist and relaxologist. It makes use of CSS effects and a strict minimum of Javascript (essentially for the Google Maps API). This example demonstrates how to create in 2011 light, fast and aesthetically flawless websites, without the need to make use of heavy technologies such as Flash, and shows what the outcome of the HTML/CSS couple can be, when it's done the right way. |

Aegir T4C server, largest role-play T4C game server of which I was the founder, developer and main administrator until early 2010. The technical advance of this server over its competitors was ensured by an anti-cheat proxy supporting plugins enabling endless possibilities to be added to the game server, such as the creation of new graphical interfaces that are not present in the original game. Aegir's technical wiki, where I explain with a few programmers the T4C internals to third-party coders. |

Bots United, worldwide game AI programmers association of which I am the founder president. This association had an intense activity in the early 2000s by democratizing a few advanced artificial intelligence algorithms (cf. its wiki). Rational Autonomous Cybernetic Commandos AI (RACC), my former first-person shooter opponent game artificial intelligence project hosted at Bots United. There you can also download the Podfix and BotAim plugins, and the POD-bot metamod port for Counter-Strike. |
