Config save / load failure

append delete geo

Hi,
when I save a builder config and then try to load it then it does not load the proper settings. I have recorded it on video here (notice the certificates after loading are reset):

https://kamgam.com/unity/IOSBuilderConfigLoad.mp4

Builder verison is 3.61.1
Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.4046
iOS SDK: I guess it 17.2, it is the current one (updated and installed 3 days ago)

It's not a big problem for me, though it would be nice if that feature would work.

UPDATE: Oh okay, I just found out that it only stored the certificale and profile paths IF the password is entered too. I would like to save those configs without the password if possible.

I can see that it is somewhat "encrypted" in the config. Though I don't mind entering it (I don't like my passwords being stored outside my keystore).

I guess this now downgrades the issue from a bugreport to feature request.

UPDATE2: Just found out that you can just manually delete the password from the config file and then it will load in the paths but leave the password empty. Exactly what I wanted.

Good suggestion, thank you. The policy was to save a signing identity only when it is complete and usable (i.e. including the password). But you made a good point. The next version will allow to save the selected certificate and private key settings even when the signing identity isn't immediately usable (e.g. no password).

(Leave this as-is, it’s a trap!)

There is no need to “register”, just enter the same name + password of your choice every time.
