Possible to build for Vision Pro with iOS builder?

append delete Indrome

We are developing a VR keyboard for the Apple Vision Pro that makes heavy use of its gesture and hand recognition features.

The requirement to go through xCode on a Mac to build the project and move it to the headset is tanking the productivity, however. We'd like to be able to skip that step.

Is it possible to build for the Vision Pro using iOS Builder?

Hello

Short answer : it's not supported.

Long answer : it is doable, but you will have to construct a tailor-made build pipeline by hand using the tools provided by this build environment, and work around a few quirks (nothing unsolvable). How far you'll go this way and how convenient the end result will be will depend on how well you understand the build script (currently focused on iOS and macOS) and how easily you can adjust it to your use case.

I sometimes receive such requests, but unfortunately the demand for these devices is too marginal for me to justify an investment in one of those pricy Apple artifacts.

But the technical possibility, and the necessary knowledge to do so, do exist.
